We place tenants in rental homes across the Greater Toronto Area, Halton, York, Peel, Hamilton and Brantford. You pay us nothing — not at application, not at placement, not ever. Landlords don’t pay for placement either, which means nobody is pushing you toward a unit to earn a commission.
How the process works
- Tell us what you need. Six things: areas you’d consider, budget, bedrooms, move-in date, pets/parking/smoking, and your deal-breakers. Start here.
- Verify once, use everywhere. You complete a SingleKey screening (credit and employment verification). It costs roughly $30–45, you pay SingleKey directly, and your report works for every introduction we make — you don’t repeat it per landlord.
- We call your previous landlords. A real person from our staff, not a form.
- We match you. When a unit fits your brief, we present your profile to the landlord — anonymously at first.
- Viewing and lease. If the landlord wants to proceed and so do you, we set up the viewing and support the lease process.
Your privacy, in plain terms
- When you apply, you consent only to matching — being considered for units that fit your brief.
- Your identity is never shared with a landlord until they’ve confirmed interest in your anonymized profile.
- Credit screening consent is requested only when a specific unit is actually on the table.
One honest note on timing
Most tenants find housing within three to six weeks, so we move fast and we expect you to as well. If we haven’t placed you within 45 days, we’ll archive your file rather than let it go stale — you’re always welcome to reapply when your search is active again.
